Territory Sales Manager Southern Ontario

CompreVac is a Canadian primary supplier of specialized Compressed Air and Industrial Vacuum Systems, Blowers and Consumables. 

 

We require a proven Sales Closer, preferably with an Engineering Background and at least 3 years on-the-road experience selling mechanical equipment to manufacturing, government and educational facilities.  Only top sales performers will be considered.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Call on established customer base within Southern Ontario and assist customers to increase production by the introduction of more efficient primary equipment and better service and maintenance methods.

  • Develop our presence in Southern Ontario by selectively promoting our products and Services to additional customers.

  • To meet our revenue growth and territory development goals whilst maintaining established profitability targets.

  •  Utilize data management software programs to analyse customer energy consumption and recommend improved methods.

  • Submit detailed energy audit reports and apply for rebates on behalf of our clients.

  • Implement strategies and campaigns to grow our presence in Laboratory, Medical, Educational and Research markets.

  • Participate in Vacuum Pump, Blower and Lubrication training programs to develop specific knowledge in our industry.

  • Work with our Marketing and Service departments to develop additional strategies to increase our revenue expectations.

 

The Company

Our company was established in 1975 and has become a significant supplier of specialist Vacuum, Blower and Compressed Air Equipment, primarily for production purposes but also involved with customers operating in the Pharmaceutical, Education, Medical, Mining and Transportation arenas.

 

Skills

  • University Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

  • Highly proficient and with a full understanding of all aspects of electronic data management, use of web-based marketing and communication methods.

  • Aggressive self starter with determined territory planning, sales and closing skills.

  • The ability to set goals and achieve expectations.

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills, including grammar and composition.

  • Ability to work independently or within a team

  • Ability to think quickly and control several projects at the same time.

  • Ability to handle pressure and deadlines.
